Alberta Ferretti-MFW

2016 ready-to-wear spring/summer collection

" I wanted a free woman with strong personality" Ferretti told reporters back stage. " I started with the desert- not specifically African or American or Indian but a desert that was free. That was important. I wanted it to be easy, romantic, sexy for a real woman today".

In contrast to the Milan sodden streets, Alberta Ferretti's show was set against an aerial footage of desert. The aesthetic was inspired truly and it bought into heart with the audience. you could really tell a story through her designs. To her patchwork suede shifts and patched lace slip dresses in cosy tones of black and brown. Over the years, Ferretti has developed a speciality for ultra-slim garments. However, true to her promise, they arrived here in light chiffons with fraying at the edges and as a decorative pattern. These pieces, which were perched on gladiator sandals and were somewhat more effortless and earthy than some of the more intricately worked and printed dresses—often with rough-hewn gold jewellery—were among the best in the show, along with the lacy white cotton numbers with a slightly Victorian aesthetic. These designs was amazing. The detailing in each piece was complimented with the gold jewellery. it bought out an emotion of free and ready to wear at any moment.

These designs are definitely fit for Coachella events. A big part was also played by jewellery and accessories. The designer says that jewellery is significant right now because it imparts lightness, is priceless, and enables a lady to express her self.
